چکیده

The purpose of this research is to design and formulate the Self-micro emulsifying drug delivery system (SMEDDS) poorly water-soluble Sertraline Hydrochloride (SRT). SRT commonly used selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor for management a number depressive disorders. Its applicability limited because extensive metabolism poor oral bioavailability 44 %. Solubility in different vehicles determined with help which ternary phase diagrams were constructed. Capmul MCM C8 EP (as oil phase), Cremophore RH 40 surfactant) Labrafil M 2125 CS co-surfactant) selected development liquid formulation. prepared was characterized globule size, TEM, transmittance study, stability analysis permeability. formulation converted solid by adsorption on Neusilin US2 convert into tablet most convenient route. Results evaluation characterization formulated T SMEDDS compared those pure drug. In-vitro dissolution study comparison that marketed indicates Tablet helps improve solubility.

Design, Development and In Vitro Characterization of Self Emulsifying Drug Delivery System for Irbesartan

The objectives of present investigations were to optimize concentration of oil, surfactant and cosurfactant by pseudoternary phase diagrams and to develop a stable formulation of self emulsifying drug delivery system (SEDDS) in order to enhance the dissolution rate of poorly soluble Irbesartan (IBS) by SEDDS. Pseudoternary phase diagrams were constructed to identify the self emulsifying region....

Formulation and Evaluation of Self microemulsifying drug delivery system of low solubility drug for enhanced solubility and dissolution

Atorvastatin is a BCS class II lipid lowering agent. It is insoluble in aqueous solution of pH 4 and below; it is very slightly soluble in water and pH 7.4 phosphate buffer. In the present investigation an attempt has been made to enhance solubility and dissolution of poorly soluble drug by formulating self microemulsifying drug delivery system (SMEDDS). The solubility of atorvastatin in indivi...
